alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

for the most of this decade i have been living & working in brisbane, queensland, australia.. .

there are loads of bugs on this forum software, it happsen to be all the time. also often if there is just one post on the newest page of a thread that I have posted, I can't see that post until someone else pots also (I doubt they can see my post either)

really need to switch to a decent forum package PLEASE!!!!!

hello guys!i am just introducing myself here.

i have been visiting this site for about a year but never really posted much but i have really learned and enjoyed the topics on this forum, in fact i think this is the best discussion forum i have yet to come across .. a little about my situation is i am a non religious person married to a devout witness, when i met him 4 yrs ago he was out in the "world", never really mentioned his beliefs as we were enjoying life without it.

the more we dated the more i realized that something wasn't right.

I'm sorry to say, you have probably lost your husband. Whoever he was will have been replaced by a "cult personality", you either need to get him to stop and get the old him back, or accept he is gone and move on. Sorry I'm not being harsh, just realistic.

Can you barter with him a bit? Offer to study 1 hour of his beliefs with an open mind and you show him 1 hour of your own CAREFULLY PREPARED anti-WT material. I put that in caps because if not then it works the other way, I have seen my partner talk to her dad who has doubts, but she doesn't know the doctrines well and it all comes across very vague and actually makes him more pro-WT. Just pick something, like 607 and then show with the list of kings in their own literature how that makes no sense. Keep things very short, don't get sidetracked or argue, don't make anything personal or make any ad hominem comments - you might have a chance.

just install phpbb, free, has all the features anyone needs, 100x better than this forum software and any forum one person could write, and will take 15 mins to install. Another 30-60 mins on a converter script, run it and job's done.

my xp system won't boot normally.

it loads windows and goes to a blank screen where normally my mouse arrow shows up while it finishes, it just sits there and doesn't do any thing else.

i tried loading a previous one that works and it does the same thing.

like slipnslide said - you could be at this for days or even weeks trying to figure it out (even if you really know what you are doing). You would be quicker to backup and resintall as they said. And I 2nd going for win7 - its much, much better than xp.
